Crazy Doberman first explored the hell within us back in 2017, and since then haven’t stopped expanding their tales of hell, industrial futurism, psychedelic (de)llusion, and ethereal zones. Their new album flies, jumps, and floats between the influence of BYG era experimental jazz, avant garde, musique concrète, kraut, psych, and industrial.  Some would call their sound psycho jazz but tearing down all the labels might give you a better definition.
 
Futurism violently replaced traditional forms of art by the speed, violence, and mechanics of modern technology. But Crazy Doberman is not just Futurism. They violently explore tradition and subvert modernity, in a psychic mind-controlling game with the listener.
 
Crazy Doberman's new album from Mastermind Records will take you to the core of an industrial jungle inhabited by heavy machinery and ethereal creatures, sometimes at war, other times lounging by a dirty river, but most of the time simply looking for your guts. Imagine a cursed amusement park, bumper carts from hell and giant wheels spinning in the air while they lose screws and land a millimeter away from you. The carnival ghosts whisper in your ear and reality is gone as throbbing moans are coming from the inside of the hall of mirrors.

The Monoliths - S/T (MRLP28)
The Monoliths are the sound of teeth chewing on gravel - a relentless and
unwavering grinding machine spitting out noisy punk roars in your face, mouthful
after mouthful.

On their self-titled album debut James Deen Dragon, P. Lizzard and Colonel
Dickhead are bolder than ever digging into doom inspired heaviness, chaotic and
full throttle noisiness and brash, melodic 80’s punk.

The album cuts to the bone like a ragged knife leaving a sharper edge and
cleaner cut in the production on the 10 tracks produced by Morten Bjerggaard
(Cola Freaks, Tumor Warlord) and mastered by Peter Peter .

After releasing their cassette tape debut 'National Anthems' back in 2013 and
collaborating with Aarhus punks Fright Eye on a couple of split cassettes in 2015,
the album debut sees the Copenhagen trio building upon the raw and dirty sound
of their previous releases while managing to transgress the boundaries of
traditional punk and noise territory.

Every song has its essence so why fuck with it? On their album debut, the Copenhagen
three-piece 0% leaves the mumbling and fumbling around to the indie kids and goes
straight for what it’s all about: Releasing punk and garage rock songs oozing with vibes
that will force you to nod your head and dive into that always tempting mosh pit.

Whether you just love that more sluggish, brown and worn out punk rock or is expecting
a smack on your shiny face, 'God Hates Young People' provides. Not afraid of digging
into either dusty rock ballads or moments of chaotic metal the album shows a band with
a wish to push beyond punk and rock conventions without forgetting those instantly
intuitive songs.

Despite releasing their album debut don't expect newcomers to the scene. Peter
Bonneman played in the notorious Danish punk bands Amdi Petersens Armé and Gorilla
Angreb, Per Gerhard is part of the dope pop/punk rock duo Yahowa while Peter Larsen
just released a debut album as part of the noise punk trio The Monoliths, also out on
Mastermind Records.

MRLP 26 Aerkenbrand - Earthen Head LP
Earthen Head is the first full-length vinyl release by the Danish duo Aerkenbrand, following a string of releases on Mastermind Records and Mythomania Collection that began in 2014 with the sprawling single-track EP Barabtalos Dream and continued with three different cassette tapes the following year. Where each of these previous releases seemed to act as contained windows into select aspects of the eclectic and diverse musical landscapes traversed by the Jutlandian two-piece, this record finds them taking advantage of the longer format to present the broader scope of their vision within a single album, while simultaneously allowing it to occupy its own distinct niche as being perhaps their darkest work to date. The result is a record possessed of an particular eccentricity, balancing bleak, naturalistic grit with an uncanny splendor. Complex, skittering orchestration gives way to more minimalist, primal rock music before veering into the ambient and folk-inspired passages that have defined previous releases. The broad range of instrumentation on the album's eight tracks belie the meticulousness of the music, although it remains solidly tethered to the core elements of Antonius Lovmand's voice and Sebastian Idun Moerch's omnipresent acoustic guitar.
