The Searching in the Wilderness comp is top notch.

The KC store?  I scored some decent items there this summer at the warehouse sale.  Didn't realize they were still getting ris of stuff.

I like the Scott Wilk record.

Probably better than 90% of the SST catalogue?

the Dovers - We're Not Just Anybody

Obviously essential.  There's a nice 10" comp of all of the early Sandy Coast 45s too, as well as a mess of Nederbeat comps.

I also like Tall Dwarfs' 3 EPs package.

Likewise I.  It hasn't been that long though.

Used Records For Sale/Auctions/Wantlists / Punk rock on eBay

I'm hoping to finish up Scott's 7" collection in the next couple of months.  Some very choice records, as well as some not-so-rare/filler cheapos.  After that will be the KBD-type comp LPs, and then, this summer (I hope) I'll move into the stuff from my personal collection which will be far less interesting to most of you.

Will consider trade offers for 60s garage 45s, power pop stuff, and some of the harder-to-find twee/indiepop items.  So if you have any Dovers singles lying around that you're not using, contact me and we can work something out.

Thanks,

Jon

Music Shit / Re: How do you store your 7"s?

I had a guy who made our fixtures at the store build me this cabinet.  I think he charged me $550.  They're very nice, although the clutter in the room distracts from the aesthetic appeal.  I used to say that at the point this thing got full it was going to be "one in, one out" thereafter.  I lied.

I've heard some Sport of Kings that hints at that sound pretty well.  There's a track here:

ALL of the problems I've had with packages getting lost in customs over the past 3 years were sent to Italy.

What does the Boyfriends 7" on Bomp go for?

Less than $10.  Maybe quite a bit less.  I really like it though.

Was there a quantity find on this?  I seem to remember this going for closer to $300 in the past year...

also, can anyone comment on the rarity of this one:

This is one of the handful of US power pop singles I'd still be interested in dropping serious cash on, but it went for about 3X what I was expecting/what I thought it went for last time.  If anybody has a copy to trade, let me know.

THanks,
Jon

I like Alastair Riddell's "Space Waltz" LP.  Pretty good Roxy/Bowie moves.  (My copy has the name Martin Phillipps printed in pen on the label.)

For the uncommon Nuns, I like the Alpaca Brothers "Legless" EP, The Bird Nest Roys LP, The Sombretones EP, The Victor Dimisich Band EP, and The Letter 5 EP.

The two LPs by Th'Dudes have some pretty good moments, maybe like the Boomtown Rats or some other Punk/New Wave band that didn't traffic too heavily in velocity.

To me the most underrated FN record is the first Sneaky Feelings album, Waiting For Touchdown.
