Bad Brains reggae moments are mood killers. Big Zit guitar riffage is pretty unique. The vocal squeals can be a bit much, but BZ dude doesn't even try to mimic HR's actual singing- you know the soaring vocals... just the screeches... and when it comes to high pitched screeches he out-screeches HR.
I dunno Big Zit is now, BB is ancient history. I cast my vote for Big Zit and acting like a mutant.

The guitar player has my haircut from when I was 8. Is it ironic retro chic? Is this part of the current fake retard "mutant" trend? Or just a bad, but honest, haircut?
I guess this will be an unpopular opinion, but every time I try to give this band another try, I just end up listening to Bad Brains instead. Which is a shame, because Big Zit is my favorite band name in recent memory.
i dig big zit....but i will agree with you about the whole fake mutant thing...the real freaks don't need a goddamn banner (not in reference to anyone discussed hear per se, just the stupid trend)
