I've been sick since the day before Thanksgiving. In and out of the neurologist's office, 6 days in the hospital w/ no resolution, good days are "okay," bad days pain's so bad I can't get out of bed. Haven't been able to make it to the store to buy gifts for anyone, can't pick up my two-year-old. I guess on the "plus side" it took something really horrible and miserable happening to me to make me realize how pointless 99% of my past whining has been.

If it was a normal year - I still have Christmas morning at my mom's house even though I'm a grown-up lady. I will continue to demand a Christmas stocking until the day I die.

Listening to other people complain. Thanks for reminding me.
