Interview with Yeap (from PISSCHRIST/ KROMOSOM / ENZYME) and his friend, Heikal. Together they play in a new band called REAKSI that has a 7" coming out later this year off LVEUM. They discuss punk in Melbourne as POC (and as a trans non-bi person for Heikal), and racism within Australia and Malaysia, where they both grew up.

Blow Blood has a new lil demo cassette out by Hamilton ON power pop band NO BLUES. All orders will ship from Canada (for your postal convenience). He's a small something on them:

NO BLUES are a new power pop quartet rising out of the Hamilton ON hardcore punk scene.

Although these Canadians still play in local acts like BLACK BARON and SCRAPHEAP, and all previously worked together in the recently defunct but well renown BORN WRONG, No Blues draws influence from past and contemporary power pop sizzlers like THE NERVES, RADIOACTIVITY and LOVE TRIANGLE, also offhandedly mentioning ??bands like TENEMENT and DARK THOUGHTS but a bit less punk a little more TONY MOLINA?

This is the start of NO BLUES! Their demo is coming soon to cassette on BLOW BLOOD RECORDS, limited to 100!

From Cleveland, BULSCH are three guys on vocals wearing red turtle necks, jumping around and singing to a backing band in a made up language, together producing dirty stomping hardcore punk. "Tartington" was originally a short run cassette released last October, now here on vinyl as their debut 7"!
Part of the wave of new Cleveland punk and containing members of your new favourite bands like PERVERTS AGAIN, THE ROOBYDOCKS, CRUELSTER, VANILLA POPPERS, PRISON MOAN and a bunch more.

(BB014) The Roobydocks, Cassingle:
I first saw them in Cleveland when they had their 7" launch, put out by the lovely Charles (of My Minds Eye Records) and dug their hardcore tunes that recorded reminded me a lot of old Australian murder punk. They also explode on stage with a crazy amount of energy. This is a two song cassingle to closely follow up their "Reliant Robin" 7" release off of My Minds Eye Records.

Basically Paul E Wog (Brainwashed Youth) meets Terry (Mr California) and they add a few more people in to make a really stupid band that sound like a Reagan era punk snotball. So stupid it's brilliant.

A reissue of this Western Massachusetts bands amazing demo cassette from last year. It sounds like a crazier and angrier UROCHROMES
