Pop Punk / booking agents
« on: January 18, 2012, 03:27:37 PM »
Anyone know of any good booking agents out there?

We are looking to get our bands hooked up.

We are actually working on putting together a couple shows along those lines right now.

PayPal button fixed.

No it did not. Seems the pay pal button is broken. We are getting it fixed and should be good to go soon. Sorry about that.

Did this already sell out? I couldn't find the buy  button.

Great information. Thank you. I will have to take a look at Discogs. Have not bough anything through there yet

GEMM used to have a near-monopoly on online record cataloging, but now they are just another site along with Discogs, Musicstack, ebay BINs, etc. The same big sellers cross-list their stuff on every site, including ebay, so you end up looking at the same records. As a seller, Discogs blows GEMM away, every aspect is superior. As a buyer, I like GEMM just fine because there are still some sellers on there that only sell on GEMM, and it's as good a place to go bargain-hunting as anywhere else.

When you see records listed at a ridiculous prices, like, a Fartz LP for $130 or the first Epicycle single for $250, it's most likely not physically in stock with the seller. They will take your money, then go BUY the record from someone else online and just suck up the difference. Pass/fail test there.

That's what I was thinking. Seemed that everything was from over seas and the price was crazy

Does anyone use GEMM.com to buy or sell records? I have used it once or twice in the past and thought it was ok. Any thought?

We had 100 copies of The Baseball Furies - Greater Than Ever repressed when our old pressing plant found 100 leftover covers. Go here and grab on while they last.

Just got a copy of the Mind Spiders record. How the hell did I miss this record until now. Has been on the turntable since I got it last night. It's a departure from the Marked Men but a great one. Well worth checking out.
