In other news, The X-Files keeps on trying to out-shit the previous episode. It's kind of pleasurable to come home at 5 AM from the bar, smoke some trees and half-pay attention to this lifeless husk. It goes down a little smoother at the pre-dawn hour.

p.s. It's really fucking bad.

Speaking of guilty pleasures, the new season of Black Sails maintains its admirable pirate grip. Talk about production design, these dudes use real ships. The story is getting a bit convoluted (although based in fact), but there's a couple great characters and it manages to be dirty and glamorous to a satisfying degree.

I agree about the x-files the exception of the third episode which I really liked for some reason.

Also am I the only one who is going to bring up kurdt's love of the spin doctors?? Seriously he was a huge spinhead. Saw it in a magazine when I was a kid. But he thought the drums were recorded badly. Said it sounded like "someone was hitting concrete." There's no way I could've imagined this all.

That's true. I am a prude and a square. I'm sorry. Two men celebrating each other's strength is a beautiful thing. 8)

That'd be nice.

Third Man Records is also reissuing some of the records released on Atlantic. I know it's Stag but hopefully Houdini and Stoner Witch also.

Nabbed it cuz a bunch of peoples i know dig him and also have posted on here a bunch in the past about him if i recall.
