The show was well done but it was impossible for me to like any of the characters, especially when these seem to be the same people moving to cities in droves and pushing out everyone else in their wake. That being said, the acting is really quite good and it is well done but jesus, these people are obnoxious.

Ending of Big Little Lies was good.

The final episode was so good. Always gratifying when a good show's best episode is the last one. I mean, I could quibble with it giving up on any ambiguity, but on a technical level--especially the directing and editing--was so sharp.

Call me a SJW snowflake...but this series seems so...white...I want to watch it but...

KILLER.

At the Eagles Lodge at SE 50th and Hawthorne. 5pm entry 3$. Early bird at 3pm for 15$

I wouldn't bother with the early bird. I'll be selling lots of punk records there with my buddy. aside from that these things are pretty hit or miss but there's a full bar with cheap, stiff drinks.

The first season of The Missing was quite good in the way the first 2 seasons of The Killing were. Like that show t, the second season gets muddled down in extraneous plot lines and flashbacks

Blackwater Records here in Portland has a lot of the Finnish punk reissues that have come out in the past few years for reasonable prices. Not sure if he's ordered this

Non-Music Shit / Storing Oversized 7' Sleeves
« on: February 17, 2017, 02:06:40 PM »
Any tips on this rather than refolding a plastic Lp sleeve? I usually try to avoid buying these because they are a nuisance but I didn't know this one was. It almost doesn't fit into a 7' storage box which is another problem.

12 Pack boxes with padding work but also most comic book stores and boxes that can be cut to fit

I'm sure some U.S distros will stock this. It's on Chameleon and I like a lot of the stuff they've done. Anyone heard this? Recording quality etc.

Music Shit / Re: Discogs/ebay
« on: February 03, 2017, 06:56:01 PM »
I have managed to get good deals on both eBay and discogs. I guess I get overly frustrated having to see records that I really want continue to show up in generated emails for about 3-5 times what any reasonable person would be able to pay for them, particularly when they're newer records.

I do tend to dwell on the negative particularly when I'm drunk and can't sleep. It just seems like many sellers would rather flaunt what they've got rather than actually sell.
