Machu Picchu is no more, long live our new sister label EGO DEATH
same mission, same approach.

our first release is out this November, and we're really excited about it
it's a deluxe reissue of the 1970 album "Smokin'" by Wildfire

Originally issued in an edition of 100 copies, privately by the group, there are less than 4 originals known to be circulating
OR Records did a small edition in 1996, and Shadoks another equally small run about ten years later
Now EGO DEATH is proud to be bringing a deluxe reissue of this monster, officially licensed by the band,
remastered from the original tapes, in a tip-on sleeve, all that stuff.

fucking amazing single from London visionaries. sounds like all of your favorite Rough Trade bands, but nimbler, and with extra banjo that's been detourned into post punk bliss
M'LR 039 SILVER FOX "Waves On In" 7"
four piece from Newcastle, their debut - two beautiful songs that sounds like Low/Galaxie playing Angelo Badalamenti
M'LR 041 REYNOSA "Carinito" 7"
debut and sole recording from this cumbia punk Norteno trio. Los Hijos del Sol cover on the A side. really great. there's only like two of these left
M'LR 044 HYSTERICS "Can't I Live?" 7" EP
six more songs from HYSTERICS, this is my top personal favorite of all the M'lady's 7"s, and is constantly in heavy rotation. this is fully the 2014 equivalent of the "in my eyes" 7" (haters can write in and argue but um, you are wrong.)
