my shitty belt drive table is on its way out, looking to get something decent that will last me. there's a couple Technics SL 1950s on ebay for about $150.

anybody with more knowledge than me: is this a fair price? is this table even worth looking at?

Every once in a while, I get an email from some random publicist schlub sending me music for review on behalf of some equally random band. Not that the music's always shit (though it often is), but I always think it's crazy that people make money just by sending emails to blogs. I guess the publicity can help, but how hard could it really be to just find blogs and send the emails yourself?
