preview track off the new Love Triangle LP. total killer. can't wait for this album

Have had this on tape for some time now (they had them on their Finland tour) and yeah, it's a great album!
i think the lp might be different recordings to the ones on the tapes, maybe..? like done in a studio. not totally sure.

this is the one i've been playing all day. i don't know anything about the tape...i don't have a player so i probably won't end up hearin it, sadly.

Has no one ever watched television or a movie before? Breaking Bad fans are the new LOST fanatics.

no way Breaking Bad is even CLOSE to how fucking terrible Lost was in later seasons.

Was in a store a while back, heard the owner say something like this to his buddy: "I gotta quit buying all these Rod Stewart records - I figured the kids would be snapping these up like crazy!"

Late Registration is great, love that record.  Fuckin "Spaceship". Nothing is forced, it's just a really easy, natural sounding record. College Dropout was still a little too sophmoric, he hadn't found his way musically or lyrically yet.

except for "All Falls Down." He peaked hard on that track

How many Elvis Costello records does a man need?

Thinking of maybe paring down to Trust & Get Happy. Have to accept that "the day I really sit down with Blood & Chocolate" may not be coming. I'm sure it's good & all.

Not sure one really needs any, but in a pinch, I'd go with This Year's Model.  I can't hang with 95% of what guy did musically...

Armed Forces and My Aim Is True are worth hanging on to also. I get how some people might just be turned off by the guy altogether, though

I'm still on board until the finale, but I do think it kinda jumped the rails a while ago.  The addictive part of the show was all the tension from episode to episode, seeing Walt inch toward pure evil.  Now that he's there, I just want him to die already.

With you on this point.  The show is still enjoyable but the quality fell off after they killed off Gus.  At this point, the only thing I'm still watching for is to see the house of cards fall down on Walt.  His character is almost unwatchable at this point.

his character's continued existence seems to be explained only by the network's desire to make snippets of dialogue trend on twitter

regarding the jazz: you got any stuff off of the Impulse! label? I've been looking for a few of them

i have found that i've mostly stopped buying EPs and 7"s. I get tired of having to switch out the record every 3 minutes. Would rather throw on an LP and just enjoy listening for 20 minutes

Impo & the Tents - Don't Give Me Your Number EP

awesome stuff. great power-poppy mid-tempo Dickies-worship. Not super original, but I'll be damned if i haven't listened to it on repeat about 5 times now
