Portland legend Jonnycat is battling cancer. Apart from being in numerous bands, Jonny runs a record label. Jonnycat Records is the type of label that puts out that first ripping 7inch that everyone brags about having a year later. He has always been a supporter of badass female musicians and the real outcast punks. Bands like The Observers, Clorox Girls, PISS TEST, Autistic Youth, and many others would not have gone as far without his support. Putting out a bands record however does not represent the true impact he has had on the scene. Without his support, nurturing, belief, and who gives a fuck attitude, many bands would never gotten out of their basements. Jonny?s contribution to our music scene is incalculable, and it is our turn to help return what he has given to us all. Because Jonnycat Records Rules and Posers Get Lost! Frosters for Life!!
