I must put my endorsement with Animal Lover.  They played Stockton last year and although the turnout wasn't great they killed it and didn't steal anything from my folks' house when they crashed in the living room.  Do your best to catch them, Yankees.

We're a band from Stockton California.  We are considered "Stockton Legends" which in Stockton is an elite class of, well, legends like us.  We're going on tour this July and everyone is so excited, wow.  We have been at it since 2009 but our members have gone on to be in other bands like Godspeed 209, Monster Treasure, Loftons and MLTD.

Below are our tour dates.  If we're coming to you come hang with us.  If you can help us out with the TBA's, drop us an electro-mail: satanwriders at gmail dot com!

DATES:

July 17th: Arcata/Humboldt TBA
July 18th: Eugene, OR TBA
July 19th: Portland, OR - Record Room w/ TBA
July 20th: Seattle, WA TBA (with Wimps, TBA)
July 21st: Olympia, WA TBA (with Wimps, TBA)
July 22nd: Sacramento, CA at Press Club (DJ's, TBA)
July 23rd: Stockton, CA (TBA)

We're working on Bay/Socal fr after the 23rd but we need to get a few things straightened out first.  Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks!  -John

Hey Termbo,

Just wanted to share with you my band Godspeed 209. We're from Stockton, CA and we play rock'n'roll of punk and metal veins. Check out our Live in Studio A recording, as guests on DJ RICK ELE's last scheduled "Art for Spastics" program, here:

You will also find some demos that I recorded on my own before there was a band. Those are now on a tape with a few other demos. Anyway, hope you enjoy.

whats termbos take on this quote from his NYU lecture

"You guys are the first to hear it: I'm actually releasing my rock album. This is gonna be some garage punk. This one's for the rebels. Look out for the Lil B rock record, California Boy."

7" of the year: Lil B - Woo Woo Suck Mah Ballz (feat. Greg Oblivian)

right after i heard this i wished i could get in on it. it could either be really fucking tight or really fucking shitty.

red hot chili peppers is probably the only legitimate contemporary mainstream rock band around. i don't even like their early shit, but in a stadium/arena context you can't fuck with their output after the "classic" album.
