"The Killing of a Chinese Bookie" has some good moments. I guess that Cassavetes used some demo versions of tracks that were recorded in his office rather than the more polished versions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXK1HBxVDHo

Most of us do draw the line somewhere , probably. I've no problem with Watery Love (or even the Mentors!), but haven't been able to stomach Brainbombs. Songs about raping and murdering Anne Frank (if I've understood properly) are beyond the pale for me personally.'Singing In The Showers', 'For Adolfs Only' and 'Belsen Was A Gas' are A-OK in my book though. Glorifying serial killers in the name of 'punk' or 'outrage' also seems a bit naff to me. 'Son Of Sam' (either by Chain Gang or Elliot Smith) are fine though.  Haven't been able to take the plunge on Charlie Manson and the Family records yet either. But I do have Bobby Beausoliel records! 'It's a funny game, this 'personal morality'. I guess the key word here is 'personal'.

In the 'real' world, lots of people have no problem buying Michael Jackson or R. Kelly records. WTF?!

Sounds like a personal problem.

Here's a couple Pousse Mort albums. Kinda similar to Black Bug or cccandy.

I've driven 25 miles for the sole purpose of eating Arby's.  Not even a little bit Brunch.

I know someone who once drove around 360 miles to get some Arby's.

Weird record.  Screamy HC parts.  Post punk stuffs.  Fucking PRETTY part.  Super believable sounding metal part, ha!  Other parts.  Sounds like you guys have fun playing together.  Would like to see live.

Yeah, 2nd song reminds me of Oh Sees, "Freeze" sounds catchy but all of a sudden turns metal riff with the treble turned up for most of the track. It's weird and seems like something I wouldn't like, but it sounds fun to play for sure and different. Coool.
