Daniel Opera Man, your take on the worst band in Milwaukee? I still haven't seen Year of the Scavenger. You?I haven't seen them yet, but the MP3s I heard were pretty bad. Usually when a bad band is playing I just hang out in another room, so I can't really compare the really bad vs. each other. I remember really not liking Bob Uecker, but they're way broken up now.
If it was the same song they had up first awhile back, I remember thinking it wasn't that horrible when I heard it too. This first song's pretty catch, actually. Weird that a Screeching Weasel rip-off would start with a blatant rip off of the Exploited's "Dead cities", but it's catchy and energetic. Nothing I'd buy in 2009, but there's no way you don't have worse screamo, jam band, "modern hardcore", tech metal or rap-rock groups in the whole of Chicago.

My favorite is when Chuck & the gang approached nickg and tried to get him to quit the Catholic Boys to join Crossed Wires (the worst band ever, for real) and said he needed to "get serious" and "stop touring crappy bars for a week at a time."
