Wizz Jones, Right Now. Fairly straightahead silver-wrist britfolkblues w/ a smidgin of Laurel Canyon cant ('specially on "City Of Angels"). That's a good thing. Occasionally harperesque in the right ways (are there wrong ways?!) but more alkaline/less sardonic than ol' Lifemask. Renbourn diddles sitar so you know it's gotta be, uh, something.

I'm glad I got to see him, because I probably won't have another chance. Some of the songs were pretty abstracted from their sources and despite the attendant technical difficulties and lack of, uh, "reciprocity" between G and band, it was cool, until I got too drunk to pay much attention anymore. I ended up leaving while he was still playing.
