Its definitely a personal thing between Greg and Keith....Keith had been bugging Ginn forever to do a full-on Flag reunion.

How do you know this?

Wonder why Rollins is missing from all this.

He's moved on?

Record Prayer 12" in the mail today. I don't care much for the pop/indie/emo parts. But the thrash and rage stuff is awesome. I'm hoping this one is a grower.

N? P?wer 12" is fast and easy love.

I doubt there will be a hardcore punk album released in 2013 that I enjoy listening to more than The Floor Above LP.

Who is doing this?

Gary Wrong "Mayhem Troopers" cranked and in my head a lot lately. Probably the most infectious new thing I've heard in a long time.

Oh no. Terrible, terrible cover. Unbelievably great with Cortex.

Didn't even know it was a cover. I will check out the original later on...

You're welcome.

and

And his can it be considered costcutting if you've got a professionally printed jacket. Im talking LPs. You save mad money by DIYing yr jackets and covers not the pennies of printed labels.

All of these "excuses" suck. And Im glad that people are getting defensive. This ain't Waxidermy but fuck me if its just accepted. That's why people keep doing it. Call a motherfucker out and try not to get too "butthurt" about it.
Sometimes my ass chafes too.

what about labels with graphics and no text? like, the same graphics for both sides?

Dislike. For me, it's mostly a matter of functionality.

An unimaginably important band in my life.

This.

But I can't say I get much out of listening to any of the records as of the past five years or so. I kind of dug the s/t a while ago, but more out of nostalgia than real pleasure I think. I would still say I love them though.

I got mine eventually. I can't remember how long it took or whether I still cared. I don't remember any of the songs.

Pop Punk / Re: Bad Religion invented modern punk rock

The first time I saw a Bad Religion shirt I thought it had a crossed out Take That logo and I thought it was really cool. I was about 12.

Of course.  My point was one of surprise, that there's 250 Replacements fans that would pay $80+ for a brand new record, and that the prices on certain copies are particularly nuts.

While I sort of feel the same way, I think the prices are supposed to be nuts. Ie people bid to contribute, not necessarily paying what the record would actually be worth. Or maybe I'm just missing your point.
