This is tough. We booked our own US tours for 4 years. Got an agent, top tier agent, and it was bullshit. We nearly killed each other, and after one tour, we broke up. Played the same to extremely bullshit places to the same amount of people, couldn't pay our 20% when we got home, got ugly and dumb with our agent.

The only way to get shit done is doing it your way, yourself.

I've done it both ways. Doing yourself is better unless youre in europe or opening for a bigger act.
