At least one Faction record getting reissued is nice, even though it is putting a 7" on a 12" which is really annoying.  Then again it'll go nicely next to my "Dark Room" 12".

Other than that, Idle Race, Third Power, M'N'M's, and Summer Hits are cool.  Doubtful any of those wants will make me have to wait hours in line, so I'm hoping it's another successful RSD where everything I want is not sweated by the hipsters-in-line-gruelers.

Looking forward to more Moody and Regular Guys.  What's the timeframe on the Fad and International Broadcasters??

That Ork box is causing me a lot of stress.  Can't bring myself to pay for some thing that I have so much of already but really want that Feelies 7".  Are people now jamming that Revlons 7" or are they ignoring it?  That single is so good.

Feel you on this, man.  I feel like it's one of those things I might get drunk and pull the trigger on.  There are a bunch on discogs right now for about $120, so I think there's a strong chance the price will start dropping in a week or two.

I was about to do Discogs/eBay hammer down on this, as my wife and I were on the road for a wedding and I sit out RSD.  Thennn on Monday I just happened to find a way into a record store (Hear Again I think it was?) in Gainesville, FL that still had two copies for $110 apiece.  Tonight I get drunk and actually listen to it.

And the difference of the price from internet markup and retail?  I picked up the Zombies and the Dag Nasty one that I had no idea was being done to complete their catalog.  Still need to get the Gods and Rainbow Ffolly I Ssuppose.

Explosives killed, want this

i Don't think their best songs are on this single though...but a good exemple of a record i wouldn't be willing spending 30-40$ for an OG but would graba 7-9$ reissue...

I found an original 2nd press (purple sleeve) of this a month or so ago here in Austin for $5.  Beats paying either price so I'll pat my own back in these present times of good records never being found in stores.  And I'd agree-the best Explosives songs are found on each of their records, but none is through-and-through excellent.  The 12" is a prime example...

For what it's worth, the very second I saw this record pop up for $5 on my Discogs wantlist from a seller "nickreynolds" I bought it.  I don't know if that's the same Nick behind the label, but I wanna say the package was stamped "Ut Records."  It took about 2 weeks for me to get it, and no tracking was provided...but it did arrive.  Conveniently, I'm the only person giving that dude seller feedback and he has nothing for sale at the moment.

I think you might be right. Your post led me to look back at my paypal history to see who the UT Records was attached to and it was to this email address: reynolds.nicholasl@gmail.com

I'm not sure if that is the email you guys have been using to try and get in touch with him but that is the email attached to his paypal so it's obviously still in use. I was one of the people that received his but please keep us posted on the progress of this guys.

I hope the above info helps.

nicklreynolds@yahoo.com was the email on the Discogs order.  Must be the same guy.

Oh, and to answer the "best state" inquiry California and then Texas.

Mississippi?

California would have to have most I would say

I was just thinking the opposite few days ago: which state has the fewest (if none at all) "classic" (or modern) punk records. Alaska?
Hawaii? Fuckin Flying A-Heads is all I can think of.

Squids from Hawaii.  Still tons of copies swimming about in repro sleeves.  My OG sleeve says like "2/3000" or some number in the thousands.  I don't believe that it's the 2nd numbered copy, but I wouldn't doubt they pressed tons and tons and tons of them...

the newest reissue imprint by the Guerssen Label Group (of Spain)

Does that mean that this ships from Spain?  Either way I am stoked for this to be reissued.

When I buy new media, I sniff whatever paper goods it has printed with it.  Sometimes each time I revisit that item if I recall it sniffing particularly good.  This doesn't happen with used items because we've all seen certain used items and it horrifies me that I could be nasally ingesting cat urine particles.

I compulsively watch stupid eBay auctions (ranging from hideously rare expensives things still priced too high to move down to $1 stupid dad rock records that nobody would buy because the shipping would outweigh any benefit to buying it online) when I know the seller will relist the item.  When I see that it has ended, I unwatch the ended one and then watch the new listing.

Awesome! These dudes have some other cool reissue stuff coming up as well

Please say Modern Warfare is included in this?  Why hasn't anyone done a proper reissue of all of their odds 'n ends yet...
