Has there ever been a more disappointing second season? Sure, there's Caddyshack 2 and whatever movie follow-ups, but a TV series? This is straight garbage. Except Rick Springfield.
Hey don't you be shit talkin Caddyshack II like that, mang. ;)

The Egyptian Theatre has some fucking amazing double-features going on thru August. Hot damn! I'm thinking about making the trip this weekend for Return of the Living Dead/Night of the Creeps or the following for Fright Night/Child's Play w/Tom Holland Q&A. Probably worth the hectic drive from Phoenix even with the I-10 collapse near Palm Springs.

Speaking of Tom Holland, I really hope the rumors are true about his return to the director's chair with Fresh Blood. He hasn't confirmed yet but he hasn't turned anything down yet either

Lest We Forget...

It was seriously too much to ask for them to keep One Man Gang's character around.

i maintain that if joe blow down the street was accused of molesting children and continued sleeping with young boys in his bed, he would be lucky if the neighbors didnt hang his ass from a tree.
BULLSHIT that worked out so well in Steubenville even one guy is now at OSU in Columbus Ohio and nobody there blinks an eye. Rapists don't change or stop until they go to prison and even then it goes on after release.

Hm.  You've got a point.  I watched a lot of violent shit when I was too young to process it, but I don't remember any PG-13 movies with footage of a guy melting.  And didn't Disney own the rights to the franchise by the time Episode 3 screened?

How about Raiders, rated PG. Though admittedly it's Nazi villains and not the hero.

I would have to look up when Disney bought the rights, but if there is one thing I know about Disney and America in general it's that people will allow anything if it makes millions. I don't have the best view of Disney though. When I was a kid my moms best friend briefly dated Michael Eisner and he was a dick.
Speaking of Spielberg, Jaws was PG

I liked them because it furthered the storylines. The people bitching about Jar Jar overlooked the fact that these are kid's movies and even then his role was diminished in 2 and 3. I care about the overall story, I don't have time for picking on small nuisances.

Layaway Butch should write the dialogue. You want weird references to weird shit by a weird dude? Our boy has got you covered. Go ahead, baby....
THIS. I can't support enough

I liked the prequels and I really don't need to defend my opinions so I'll just leave it at that. I am excited for the new ones

Fucking loved It Follows. Creepy as hell, great camerawork, awesome Phantasm-esque soundtrack, nice Carpenter/slasher era homages, and the characters weren't unlikeable idiots like in every other modern horror flick.
What modern horror movies are you talking about? Maybe these stupid PG-13 teen shits but the ones I've seen recently on the indie level have been getting better and better

It Follows yesterday, supposedly theee beest horror movie of the 2000's which I really didn't see in it. Good cinematography and a nice synth soundtrack though.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE film. There's a ton of better indie horror flicks out there that destroy It Follows. The synth soundtrack WAS good though but that's the only bright spot and the synth soundtrack for Starry Eyes was better even(and the movie was better too). It Follows was overhyped bullshit.
