VERTIGO s/t 7?
When it comes to quality punk rock, Barcelona can seemingly do no wrong, and this neat four track EP is only another indication of the great things coming out of that city. The straight ahead, sometimes primal feel of these songs gives them a powerful sound at the same time as being very melodic, and I love the liberal use of the snare/floor tom combination throughout this record. I currently have this on repeat and really can?t get enough of it. The sleeve has translations of the lyrics, which is a nice touch, and nicely rounds off a wonderful record, and another quality release from Tadpole Records: tadpolerecords.blogspot. co.uk (tony/suspect device)
