Perhaps it would have been more appropriate to request:

"Recommendations of music made by stringed instruments which do not require electrical power, less than prime production value and musicianship not on par with Satriani or Vai."

1st DOUBLE NEGATIVE album is an excellent choice.

Never heard FRAMTID.  For some reason I always thought they were more of a Botch/Converge style technical metalcore type of band.  Will have to check them out.

Both CAREER SUICIDE albums would be good picks.  DIRECT CONTROL s/t is a good one too.

Just trying to see if there might be some that I missed.  Not talking about thrash or grindcore but just simple hardcore punk.

My vote:

FUNERAL SHOCK s/t LP (Six Weeks Records)
Raging and great early Verbal Abuse/Bad Posture/Early black flag style jams.  Features members of Spazz and Capitalist Casualties but the style is just great, pure original style hardcore punk.
