bull city records is handling the first two. after that we aren't too sure. the first is currently at the plant and should be out early 2009.

hey. whatever brains has a new tape available to purchase at upcoming shows or order online. it's 30 minutes of music on both sides of a 60-minute tape. the songs are various demos and home recordings of songs that will and will not appear on the three to four 7"s we have coming out in 2009. you are welcome to sample the first two songs if you are curious. tapes are $5 ppd within the united states. please email me if you're out outside of the states. paypal/email rkivey attt gmail dotttt com. thanks!

i don't know if any north carolina people post on here besides chaz, but there is a cool show in raleigh this friday.

whatever brains will have a new tape of assorted demos to tide the rabid fans over until the 7"s start coming out. "soft dick city" is 10ish songs, 30ish minutes and fiveish bucks.

nah, chaz who runs bull city records in durham, nc is putting it out. it'll be his first release. www.bullcityrecords.com

and we're all getting together tonight to work on mixes for a second three-song 7" ("eli" on the myspace, plus a studio version of "what happened to all the destructionaires?" and one more). not sure how that one is coming out. maybe chaz again...maybe ourselves...maybe we can find somebody else. who knows.

hey! that's my band. we have a 7" coming out this winter (that song "summer jammin" on the myspace is one of the three songs) and we just finished recording for a second 7". we're doing some dates around north carolina in the next few months and are trying to record and release as much as we can from now on.

my contribution to this thread is gross urge. http://www.myspace.com/grossurge. they're really really young kids from california playing beyond-fucked hardcore. bass/drums/vocals and totally awesome. their demo tape is five songs in four minutes (i think) on a 90-minute cassette. total hc trash nonsense and totally recommended.

i love gross urge and their other band, der yahzenburg, dearly. they may or may not still have some demo tape available. crucial shit.

played a house show last night. the other guitar player in my band was munching on a peanut butter, jelly and mushroom sandwich throughout the night. he was dressed in a white suit with some weird baby outfit on his head. it looked as is if he enjoyed himself.
