Why only one Ohio band? Looks awesome either way except a few bands whose members I just have personal vendettas against, ha.

At least Rollins was there, what is Elijah Woods defense?

You are kidding, right? If he's in this it because he lives in Austin and so does the filmmaker.

BORN AGAINST - Nine Patriotic Hymns For Children
Yes!

Never understood the hype with this album. Liked Wrangler Brutes better than Born Against.

http://rustbelthammer.com/2014/07/26/rust-belt-hammer-catches-up-with-kill-the-hippies-an-interview/  Kill The Hippies interview for those of you that follow KBD sounding stuff and obscure Ohio punk. Lots of good talk about old Ohio bands too.

To answer a few questions, I submitted the interview 7 months ago. They ran part 1 on their website but made me take the word "pussy" out of the title which was a direct and funny quote from Erba. I obliged because I can see how it can be taken the wrong way but that's how we talk in NE Ohio, I guess, and if that word (which isn't directed towards females in the interview context) is a big problem in your life, you got it good.  So yeah , 7 months or so go by. They run my column on Ohio punk and for the most part have been real cool to me
over at MRR and I peep the new issue at a record store down here in Austin where I now live. They slam the shit out of Erbas new band in a way that left a bad taste in my mouth. That's all good, we are all grown ups and bad reviews happen but then the reviewer goes on to basically slam Cle and Now That's Class (best venue in the country) with some backhanded bullshit comments that I personally took offense to as someone that loves, supports, champions, and documents Northeast Ohio punk and underground culture. Anyways , on break at work and need to get back. Thanks to everyone that enjoyed the interview. I'm going to post more thoughts tonight.

Music Shit / New Tony Erba Interview

In honor of Maximum Rock & Rolls smear campaign against Erba's new band and voting to not run this interview, here it is in all it's glory. Probably the best interview I have conducted. His answers are awesome and really well thought out.
