The competition in Austin is pretty fierce. You just have to be there at the right time before anyone else snags the good stuff. So many record and clothes flippers and even vhs hunters.

I found Silver Apples debut lp at a thrift in Flint. A pal of mine later found an ENORMOUS pile of rare 60/70 soul at the same store.

I can only imagine that the whole state of Michigan is a great place to thrift.
