Can't go wrong with this lineup.  These peeps seem to be doing a good thing for the homeland.

New Breakout jams are sick.

Link it up so I can eat my words if that's the case haha.

Anyone into the newer indie stuff? Masada has a match in Austin in a few weeks and I'm pretty pumped.

As someone originally from Northeast Ohio, this puts a tear in my eye. Can't wait to see them.

No hate from me. Not a huge fan but dude is obviously a recognized craftsmen at what he does. I do think Bim of Obnox should be receiving the level of Dwyer notoriety though.

They cancelled at sxsw (I live in Austin) so that was a bit of a bummer. Even bigger bummer was when Touche Amore took their place at the Thrasher Death Match.

Music Shit / Re: Thrift Score
« on: March 30, 2014, 10:40:45 AM »
I scope random Goodwill's maybe once a week when I can. Sometimes more. Usually I end up with a few random soul albums or Miles Davis if I'm lucky.  Well, a few months ago my thrift store wet dream came true. I was sifting through the usual suspects when I came upon a record titled "New Wave", a compilation featuring NY Dolls, Dead Boys, Ramones, etc. Cool. Not a bad score, right? So I keep flipping and next is three mint condition Brian Eno albums from the 1970s. I let out a bit of a grown man yelp in the middle of Goodwill and a Vince McMahon style "Oh my God!!".  Keep flipping and begin to come to the conclusion that this was someones collection. Proceeded to get albums by The Dictators, Human League, Elvis Costello, Devo, etc. Mostly 80s synth stuff with Eno being the icing to my vinyl cake. Ever since then I haven't found jackshit. It's been a few months of desperation, DMX records purchased for $1, and dusty bins of Barbara Streisand albums.

Spent my day watching early 90's WCW on the WWE Network after making the purchase this morning. Most of the problems people were having seem to have subsided a week in. Anyone else get it yet? Thoughts?

I am likely going to purchase it soon. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet. How is it for indie/territorial stuff? I would really like to watch some old NWA and WCCW.

Just saw Straight To Hell with Joe Strummer. Avoid that movie at all costs. It sucks.
