I scope random Goodwill's maybe once a week when I can. Sometimes more. Usually I end up with a few random soul albums or Miles Davis if I'm lucky. Well, a few months ago my thrift store wet dream came true. I was sifting through the usual suspects when I came upon a record titled "New Wave", a compilation featuring NY Dolls, Dead Boys, Ramones, etc. Cool. Not a bad score, right? So I keep flipping and next is three mint condition Brian Eno albums from the 1970s. I let out a bit of a grown man yelp in the middle of Goodwill and a Vince McMahon style "Oh my God!!". Keep flipping and begin to come to the conclusion that this was someones collection. Proceeded to get albums by The Dictators, Human League, Elvis Costello, Devo, etc. Mostly 80s synth stuff with Eno being the icing to my vinyl cake. Ever since then I haven't found jackshit. It's been a few months of desperation, DMX records purchased for $1, and dusty bins of Barbara Streisand albums.
