Can hardcore punk still be wild and free? On their debut record, the Bay Area's NEON breaks through the doldrums of modern life and modern punk to answer emphatically, ecstatically: YES OH YES. Ten perfect punk songs with unhinged guitar parts and caustic vocals decrying the dreariness of a world in grey. Silkscreened and hand-glued OBIs and gorgeous risographed four-color insert make this something beautiful to hold onto in these ugly times. This is liberation punk in full color. Limited to 400. Ugly girl music / NEON is life.

NEON feat. members of MOZART, PIG DNA, & other punk neo-classics, but they stand on their own as one of the best & most original bands of the past decade. This one is  gonna to go fast. Individual copies available directly through Square One Again: https://squareoneagain.storenvy.com/products/29058262-neon-12.

Wholesale cost is $10/each for orders of 5 or more, shipping included on domestic orders. (For international postage rates on wholesale, please get in touch.) Respond to this email for wholesale orders.

New Releases For Sale/Distro Updates / PIECE WAR LP out now
« on: June 19, 2017, 01:34:19 PM »
Out now on Square One Again records.

PIECE WAR ? Apathy LP
Apathy, the debut LP by Auckland, New Zealand?s PIECE WAR (featuring Tina Pihema of the Coolies) is a punky, noisy, lo-fi garage pop masterpiece that was initially released in a microscopic lathe cut 10? pressing of 30, but is now getting its proper vinyl due. Loose, distortion washed guitars, dreamy (but tuff) vocals, perfect melodies, and smart lyrics immediately put Apathy in the pantheon of New Zealand lo-fi greats. This is bedroom punk for the ages. This limited one-time U.S. LP pressing on Square One Again comes with new, full-color art and lyric insert.

"Like John Brannon was a woman and No Trend was a hardcore band from London." - Layla Gibbon / MRR

"Their hatred is more real than a thousand young men in Hoax t-shirts." - Matt Korvette

Previously responsible for two perfect 45s, the time has come for misandrist London post-punks Good Throb to unleash their initial full length on the world. They want you and yours to eat shit and fuck off, made clear across eleven vitriolic tracks that condemn City suits and shitty punks equally, giving all of us Yanks a glimpse into the hell of having to take the Tube into the bowels of Central London every day.
