i don't want to cover or hide my turntable; i want it to integrate in the middle of my cabinet where it will stand in the spotlight surrounded by records & cds!

i'll post some pictures when the thing's finished so you'll understand what i mean...

One of these days, my carpenter is going to construct a built-in cabinet where I will also put my record player. I still have an old record player but I already know that my future record player will be the Technics SL-1200. However, can somebody tell me the total height of this record player when the dust cover is open? I need to provide enough space in the cabinet, that's why...
