I'll be here sometime in July or August.

A friend of mine swears by D's Sixpax and Dogz http://www.regentsquare.net/ds6pax.html Worth checking out?  Nobody mentioned it here.

Also, is there anything Dawn of the Dead related at the Monroeville mall?

I settled for the CD re-issue.  Meh...

Tip: bring your own cup.  They only give you a 2 oz glass for tasting.  Lines can get really long and you'll want something more than that while you're waiting.

I usually work one of the tables with a friend of mine who's an importer.  He decided not to do this one, though.  These things are usually filled with meatheads (at least in NY, other cities have been really cool).  One time some asshole dumped a beer over my head bc I was fucking with a friend of his.  Totally caught me off guard, he came out of nowhere.  I had to go out to dinner later soaked in beer.  Actually that was kinda funny.

No problem with that Teenbeat CD, though?

"When Death Won't Solve Your Problem" is one of the few records I broke my nothing over $40 rule for.  I'd kick myself if it got re-issued, though it totally deserves to be.

"I can?t even get the band?s two best records reissued."

I'm assuming this is due to other former members?

I like the art on the inside of the gatefold better (less dicks).

I can scan them on monday, but unsure of the quality... i'm not really very tech savvy.

haha, you still want it kolaola?  I'll do it early or late when no one's around.

I'd have to bring it in to work to scan... I might get some funny looks but lemme know if the other guy can't do it.

Will agree that this album does kinda suck.

yeah well I hadn't gone away in a while and had stockpiled a lot of vacation time.  Things are really slow at work so why not?  Unless they slow down to a point where I get laid off, which seems like it could be a possibility.

I've been to Thailand twice, most recently in 2004.  It was before the tsunami and before all the political unrest.  Definitely my best vacation ever but I've heard people's attitudes have really changed there; no longer the land of smiles.

Sounds like the Loew's Theater in Jersey City.  Well, I'm hoping it is anyhow.

Seems unlikely -- too big.  Also don't think I'd want to see them in a seated venue.

Just speculating - haven't Maxwell's people done shows there before and it seemed like it kinda fit the bill.

Is it that great?  Granted it was a long time ago but when I went to BKK round trip from Newark was about $700.  Air Asia has budget flights all over for under a hundred bucks round trip.  Anyway, worth researching - I'm thinking of doing Vietnam/Laos this winter.

CORRECTION!!!!

"Show in Hoboken will not be at Maxwell's. Some big old union hall or somethin'."

Sounds like the Loew's Theater in Jersey City.  Well, I'm hoping it is anyhow.
