This delicate masterpiece is titled "Baby, I'm gonna puke all over you", in reference to a song by some police officer.

I actually wrote to her a few minutes before typing that post, asking how to buy the movie. Got a reply with a free download link 10 minutes later, in exchange for a promise not to share. Very nice.

They made a documentary!! No English subtitles though so start studying if you want the facts.

The Traces in the snow doc has been uploaded here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LS-PyXXvA7E&feature=youtu.be

Now does anyone know where to get I don't believe in anarchy, the movie about GrOb? http://www.grobfilm.com The way the director (and former band member) writes about it makes me very curious:

Quote
In the minds of countless russians who came of age during the fall of the Soviet Union, the radical lyrics and selfmade visceral sound of the cult siberian band Civil Defense and its visionary leader Yegor Letov have come to embody the apocalyptic spirit of those heady days. Thirty years later, Letov’s legacy resonates strongly as ever. “It is no coincidence that in its inquiry into subjective and objective representation, the ?lm contains elements of both biographical fact and cinematographic ?ction, a mix of the concrete and the imaginary. Taking select life events from the 70’s to 1991 (Letov died in 2008) as a conditional plot of the ?lm, his story is consciously narrated as a myth. In its highest points it becomes a parable of what it’s like to ‘be in a band’ and what is sacred about music, while on another level, this ‘official’ ?lm is more signi?cant for what it conceals about its transgressive and elusive protagonist.” (Anna Tsyrlina)

No one's mentioned how wild the new Limp Wrist is yet? Hardcore record of the year for me thus far.

I wasn't impressed. To me it sounds like they're trying to "find a new direction", which is fair enough in itself, but the whole thing just feels a bit too forced. Vocals are still great, but I wish they would have stuck with ripping off cool Negative Approach riffs instead of going all "innovative" on us. I've only listened to it a couple times but I can remember at least a song which sounded something like "modern post-punk influenced hardcore" to my ears. And, well, did we really need these electro tracks?
