G.G. Allin - Banned In Boston

I've been on a major GG Allin kick this past month. I've been combing through some bootlegs, live sets, and so on. I even went back and re-read the old Terminal Boredom Field Guide to GG Allin by Jason Litchfield. I think it is worth posting links to for any new members who may be unaware or missed it. Part 1 http://www.terminal-boredom.com/ggguide1.html and Part II http://www.terminal-boredom.com/ggguide2.html

Thanks, this is right on time for me. I used to ignore almost everything post-jabbers, now I'm looking to dig in a little more.

I have completed a "WILL TERMBOS LAMENT THIS RELEASE?" Checklist (2015 edition):

N berets
N dangly earrings
N Devil Dogs?
N fake mutants
Y chorus pedal on gtr
N scrawled "goop" art
Y "Yeah, but is the singer REALLY crazy?"

Cracking up at this

I think the criteria should be an lp where you don't get the urge to skip any tracks. There are loads of classic lps with a the odd shit track...like
Sound & Fury
Machine Gun Etiquette

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was going for, but "almosts" should get a mention too. Machine Gun Etiquette is a great example.

Obvious ones:

Young Loud and Snotty
Never Mind the Bollocks...
Kill em All

I'm not much of a Pistols guy, but the other two are definitely on my list too.

And as for "Group Sex", couldn't agree more, I should have started this off with that one.

Can't go near "infidel zombie". Anywhere near it.

I love Infidel Zombie. Originally it was a low point on the record for me but my opinion has changed over time, now it's one of my favorite Dickies tunes.

New York Dolls "Too Much Too Soon" is like this for me, with the glaring exception of "Stranded In The Jungle." I always skip it.

First 2 Dickies lps are very close, if not flawless as well.

I was reading through the "Rip Offs" thread (great thread, by the way) and someone made a mention of something being a "near-perfect" album and it got me thinking....

What are some albums you consider to be perfect or damn close to it? I'm talking about stuff that just rips start to finish with no real low points/bad songs.

I'll offer this to start-
Zero Boys - Vicious Circle
