The second one has more of the smugness you expect but the city photography is nuts.

The Isis one is closest anything has come to CNN's Gulf War shit, not really Vice at all ... tho' I did wonder why everyone has perfect teeth.

Didn't know about the bootleg.

I actually like Fire Walk With Me more than the show. Truly creepy and I think it deals with the Bob character/concept better than the show does. Not Lynch's best but the one I've watched the most.

I'm a fan of Lynch's most recent works so I'm sure he can pull off a good show, though I'm really hoping it just follows James around on his bike as he gets into wacky adventures each episode.

I dug up the pilot. It's almost entirely footage that ended up in the movie but slightly different editing and so on, plus cool crappy VHS effects.

I think Texas/CA '69 is definitely their best live record, esp. "New Age." It sounds so natural you might start to think recording it was easy. Cave '68 clarifies things.

Slept on this for a long time but put it on recently?loud?and it peeled the paint off the walls. "I'm your icky boyfriend / and I'm from Cal-if-oooorn-yuh." I think they do that gag again somewhere else, needs no improvement.
