Is next week the last episode until next year? I recall reading it was a 16 episode season split into 2 halves.
yep

i'll eat my words when they prove otherwise

but really there's only 9 episodes left forever, right?

mike is dead. it was a very moving exit and they would be absolutely fucking moronic if they pull some twist where he didn't die right there.

things will get very ugly next year or whenever the fuck they toss out the next batch. hopefully there is enough to keep solid steady pace and not anymore distracting side stories

i'm still not disappointed yet.

Walt's a douche!
finally at the point when even the viewers who were rooting for him as an antihero a couple years ago now have general disdain for him! it's a good thing. i was really bummed out by the ending yesterday. overall episode actually. it was pretty solid...

yeah, the end of the series has him doing the conan show... it only showed a minute or two of it and while my friend was telling me it was a 'happy ending', it just seemed to kind of go unresolved. i wasn't a big fan of his schtick either, and like i mentioned i have to question his peers for 'allowing him' to do that if he really is in such a fragile state of mind and doesn't know how to handle audience criticism, which he seems not to. potentially dangerous to himself and other people.  it goes into the whole twitter breakdown either at the end of the first one or the beginning of the second one, but it was obviously a HUGE focus. if you have hbo and ondemand it should be hidden somewhere in there also, that's where i ended up seeing it.

a friend had me watch the six episode (15 mins each) HBO GO/HBO digital series about brody stevens.... i am not sure how "in on it " he is, but dude seems totally unstable and got into a heated argument that even if he is on meds and is stable, him going in front of audiences seeking approval and then berating them for not laughing enough and going on the same rant about how he was in the hangover one, the hangover two, and due date.... if he has had a major turnaround and is on proper meds and has his head straight and wanted to make this series as some kind of project, that's cool... but dude is definitely 'not there' during some of the footage when it shows him having manic episodes off of the meds he was taking.

i could be wrong. really knew nothing about the guy. if the tim and eric bit wasn't set up, those guys are dicks for fucking with someone with a major mental illness. i'm still on the fence about that and usually enjoy what those guys do.
galifinakis (who produced the series and is listed as 'writer' on some or all episodes?) seems genuine in trying to help out a friend who he doesn't know what else to do for.

obviously i put a lot of thought into it, but yeah, it was really interesting.

made this as a flier for the murder junkies show my dumb band opened for a couple weeks ago. of course the club used the generic one with their skull logo even after the 'promoter' told me mine was great and she needed a copy of it. here it is without all the bullshit band names and stuff. i like it.

fuck, i hate floaters. feel like i became aware of them sometime around the age of 12 or so... i'm 30 now. doesn't noticeably get worse over time i guess, but i know my right eye seems to have one giant cluster. i look at the youtube videos of doctors going in and zapping them from time to time and imagine that someday there will be an easier way, or that i'll run into a shitload of money and will be up for some crazy surgeries. it's usually just a pain in the ass on really bright days outside.

Yeah, only 7 episodes this season. So 3 left.
just read from two sources that there were eight this year, so that means three more after tonight i think? tonight's was really good i thought! i think it's going to (hopefully) wind down and wrap itself up well...  either way i have enjoyed this show very much over its three seasons.

the funeral scene was uncomfortable and brilliant. stevie puking was great too.

the show has been consistently great since the start, i think, and it isn't slowing down... just... winding down. the phone at the end was a little too overdramatic cheese, but obviously setting something up. anyone know how many episodes they did this time around? can't imagine only three or four episodes to go til the whole story has completed itself, but the first two seasons were pretty brief.

the first thought that comes to mind is "that kid" in kindergarten/grade school who would drop his pants and underwear down to his ankles to take a piss - i'm starting to wonder if these were the kids of single mothers without a clue....  or if they were just weird. south park did justice to this by adding it to butters' repertoire...

but otherwise:  in high school was at a wendy's with some friends, one told us to go check out the bathroom and see what he did. someone went and looked. he took a shit right NEXT to the toilet, and thought it was hilarious. didn't think it was so much.  another time, two different friends went into a chinese restaurant specifically to use their restroom, one ran for the stall and the other freaked out. "what am i supposed to do now? i have to take a shit so bad!"  "you can shit in the sink for all i care, i got the toilet."  so he shit in the sink, and also thought it was hilarious.  these shit-bombers were skateboarders, if that means anything. i dunno.   oh, the one who shit next to the toilet also shit in the tennis field at our high school too.

when i worked at borders for 6 years there were a lot of problems with the bathroom - mostly shit on the walls, on the toilet, or playboys from our magazoine section open on the floor sprayed with cum. i was the periodicals clerk for my first year, and i started opening the shrink wrap slightly to put chicklets (secuirity devices) in the magazines as to scare off potential bathroom jerkoffs. i don't care if people use a toilet to jerk off anymore than i care if they use it to take a shit, but when you leave a mess in a public place that's a totally different thing.

Sarah Silverman had about a dozen really funny jokes and she reused them over and over until they were all used up.

her television show was pretty good, but most of the time the brian & steve or laura & jay storylines were much more entertaining than her own
