Tales From the Tour Bus season 1 was fantastic. Keep forgetting to check out season 2.

Atlanta season 2, much like season 1, gets better as it goes along, and is probably some of the best television of recent memory.

The episode of Atlanta where Darius goes to buy the piano/organ is one of the best episodes of tv I have watched in a long time.

is The Leftovers worth watching?

I thought it was ok, only made it through a season and  a half before it lost my interest.

Watching The Rumble on PBS, story of Native American Music. Only twenty minutes in but pretty good so far. It's streaming for free on their site.

Just came on here to post this. I admit over the last year or so I haven't read it as consistently as I have in the past but it's still a regular go to for me. For some reason I thought it would last forever.

Been listening to the first Circuit Rider lp a lot recently. I have no idea how I missed this album all these years, but loving it now.

I just bought the reissue a couple months ago, and similarly have no idea how I wasn't aware of the album until recently.

I plan on getting the second one soon, no matter what else I buy this lp just ends up back on the turntable. In reading about them I do find the Doors comparisons odd. I can see why it happens but I don't agree.

Having now gotten my mitts on the Papiercuts 12" I can safely say it is easily the best new release of 2018.

Shit's got horns even.

I really have to get this, the lp is still in heavy rotation.

Watched the first episode of Watership Down, seems like it has potential. It's been so long since I read the book it will have some surprises for me and it has a dark feel that it should. Will definitely watch more, hopefully it doesn't disappoint.

Surprisingly I loved The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. There were a couple of weak vignettes, but that story with Tom Waits as a gold prospector was some of the best stuff the Coens have done. Always enjoyed Waits more as an actor than a musician.

That ending too!

I was surprised. I am a big fan of theirs but didn't like this at all. It wasn't bad just bored me.

I'll admit I hated the Liam Neeson story.

Everything else worked great for me.

I thought the Liam Nesson one started great but the ending just seemed so half assed it lost me.

I'm not sure at all what it was but all the stories just bored me. The closest was the James Franco one and that was more I liked the ending lines.

Caught up on Barry and Silicon Valley. Barry is good but I feel like it hasn't really taken off yet. Winkler is still great in it. I will admit I was wrong about Silicon Valley maybe needing to end, the last two episodes have maybe been the best two they have done. Some hilarious stuff, think givin Jared more of a staring role has taken it up a notch.

Agreed on Silicon Valley, this season has been great so far. Jared's character and Jian Yang's character in the handling of writing TJ Miller out has been hilarious. The writing this season so far seems to be more balanced on all the characters rather than just a couple as in the past.

Yeah, I'm still undecided on Barry. Right now the Albino Chechen and Fonzie are saving it for me.

I've got the Andre The Giant recorded but haven't watched it yet.

Watched Andre The Giant yesterday. It's pretty good, love seeing the wrestlers talk about him with such reverence. Nothing mind blowing but still worth the watch.

Other: Black Abba, new Intelligence LP etc.

Got the Black Abba 7" the other day, really like it.

It's betting on death, think my post was from a couple years ago.

Yes. Good.

Is this the Betting On Death 7" or is there something new I'm not aware of?

Saw Brown Sugar tonight, damn they put on a great set and even worked through a broken microphone. Thanks to Termbo Instagram I knew to grab the special cover lp too.
