Heyward, 2 for 28 in post-season, has been benched in favor of Chris Coghlan another left-handed hitter.

I still think he will play and make a difference.

Local art house theater is doing a bunch of Jarmusch movies next month and it got me in the mood to watch a couple of his. Watched Mystery Train and Night on Earth today. Probably my two favorite of his though I think the middle vignette of Mystery Train lags a little. Pretty excited to go see them on the big screen. I think the Helsinki story in Night on Earth is one of my favorite parts of any movie ever.

Pretty cool that one way or another a long streak will be broken. Clearly the Cubs are the better team but that doesn't always mean a win.

The most interesting part of tonight's game, for me, is seeing if Cleveland runs on Lester. It blows my mind that someone so good just hates throwing to a base so much he won't do it.

Picking Cubs in 5 with Heyward coming out of nowhere to win the MVP.

This could be his new business plan, just scoop up names of failed brand.

Welcome to the Scion, please enjoy your stay. If you want a drink you can enjoy a Zima or Crystal Pepsi in our DeLorean lounge.

36 days in, just wanted to say that reading that people who have much more time than me have some of the same issues is oddly comforting.

Just saw something that said this story has been reported in 2010 and again in 2013. Thought I had seen it before.

Doesn't change the fact that the man was a brilliant artist and a big thank you to all who left me one of his works as a tip over the years. You are truly a credit to the G-d above.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was a fake. Seems like announcing this increases interest in his stuff. In the end that's his only goal.

Leaving one as a tip is such an ass move. Here this is more important than money, oh don't worry about eating or bills or rent.

The world just got a lot less crazy and a little less entertaining.

Got my copy in the mail today. Great record! It's been a while since I have ordered from you, you took your packaging game up a notch!

Been on pretty heavy rotation since I got it last summer. Really great record that hits a spot few, of any, other bands are hitting.

Watching Batman va Superman, this is a really bad movie. Luckily it's free thanks to redbox and my love of big gulps.

Lots of Bob Log III. Super excited to see him this weekend, been a while. I would put him in the top 5 of my all time one man bands.

Shit I forgot one of my favorite baseball books:

Just about the insanity that can be Japanese League baseball. Probably insanely outdated at this point, but such a great read. Anyone got a book that would be a good update of this?

Never seen or heard of this book but definitely put it on my list. I love baseball and know almost nothing about the game in Japan. Thanks for the tip.

For baseball I would recommend any of Roger Angells books, second Jonah Keri and Seasons in Hell. Also second the Thom Jones, Pugilist at Rest is one of my favorite shirt story collections. The Numbers Game is great if you have any interest in the history of stats in baseball.

Have to catch up on the last episode of The Night Of but really like it so far. Story is not perfect but it's good and the show is shot so well.

I like Vice Principals but it is like most Danny McBride stuff to me, I enjoy it but it doesn't really make me laugh out loud. He plays the same role in most things, does it well but it's really the same.

I have been slowly working through the second season of Bloodline but it's not a season I can binge watch. Too intense.

Also started The Preacher but I don't get the hype I have heard from some. It's an ok show but nothing amazing in my mind.

Guilty pleasure right now is Comic Book Men. I am a fan of comics but I enjoy the show more for them all making fun of each other and I love the non-pretentious display of fanatics. Just a bunch of guys who in most circles would be outcasts but have found their place.

Been trying to read more over watching tv. Found that the soundtrack to Z is great reading music. Really one of maybe 5 soundtracks I would say are worth owning.
