Linklater's Everybody Wants Some!! was aimless and boring.

I felt like aimless and boring was the point of that movie but feeling that way didn't make me enjoy the movie any more.

Question: What ever happened to the Teengenerate doc? Did it make it out? Is there at least English subtitles if so?

That's a very good question. There was a screening in New York last summer or fall but I was expecting some sort of DVD or blu ray release.

Everybody talked a big game before the RNC and then nothing happened.  Apathetic youth.

It was a lot of talk but no planning. Lots of protests that were planned are now being cancelled or changed because they didn't get permits and they apparently are angry but not angry enough to risk missing a day at their jobs.

I was told to hold out on Westworld and that it gets much better as the season progresses. Has anyone gotten into it/. Think it's worthwhile to spend a hungover day indulging in it?

I made it three episodes in and lost interest, have heard lots of people raving about it but it didn't grab me.

A Colt is My Passport - possibly the best noir ever filmed or possibly the best movie that should be remade as a western but has not been. Either way a great movie, sent me on a couple hour search for a copy of the soundtrack but couldn't find any evidence it has ever been released.

Mike Rep and the Quotas - Hellbender, Cowboy Gone Straight is maybe my favorite track of 2016.

Cheater Slicks- Don't Like You, found this for $10 at my local record store. It's nothing new to the folks on here but damn I love this band. Don't think they have put out a bad record.

Thomas Jefferson Salve Apartments-Punk Rock Secret, been a while since I listened to this. No idea why as it's a great single.

Yambag - (Be)Wear The Mask cassette. Getting excited to see them next week. Short loud and all songs named after animals. Works on every level.
