Not a huge fan of drug dealers, but this seems like another way for people to avoid personal responsibility. If you do hard drugs, you run the risk of death. That's on you, not on the guy who sold it to you. I can't sue Walgreen's for selling me Pall Malls when and if I eventually get cancer. We have plenty of drug education in this country; the consumer knows what's up. Also, this stuff went through many hands before this dealer got it, and it makes no economic sense for him to knowingly sell something to a potential repeat client that will kill said client. Point being that even if these guys get some "bad" shit, how are they supposed to know?
Same shit is going on with bars in my state. A bartender can be sued if a client leaves the bar drunk and gets in a car accident. Talk about stupid. So some poor single mom flipping Bud for tips at the local beer shithole gets in trouble because you were stupid enough to drink and drive. Personal responsibility be damned!
I'm thinking about suing Sire/Warner Bros. Those early Dead Boys and Ramones albums turned me into a total fuck up. I could have made a fortune by now if I hadn't strayed from the path. SOMEBODY ELSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY MISTAKES, OK?
