Ask the Dust was one of my favorite novels in college - haven't read it in awhile, though.

I just finished Chelsea Horror Hotel by Dee Dee Ramone.  Pretty absurd but entertaining enough, I suppose. 

Probably moving on to more World War II stuff now.

I read The Ice Man about a year ago and was pretty much fascinated by the whole thing.  Dude was as cold-blooded as humanly possible.

Has anyone read any of the 33 1/3 books?  I was thinking about picking up the ones on Pink Flag, Ramones, and Loveless.

At the school where I teach music plays during the changeover between classes, so I get to hear some of the most insipid crap in the universe every single day.  The worst for me at the moment is that "Wildfire" song.  I don't know for sure who the artist is (Michael Murphey, maybe), but it's about a horse and it's as painful as anything else I can think of.

Motorhead
Ramones
Sonic Youth

I also have Season 1 of Breaking Bad, various assorted X-Files episodes, and several shorts from RiffTrax.

As far as the DFW area goes, North Main BBQ in Euless is damn good.  Only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, though.
