I remember buying Land Speed Record when it came out and I thought it sucked.  They were forever tainted to me after buying that.  One of the worst hardcore records ever (and that's saying something).

Renters insurance is super cheap.  I think I pay less than $100 per year for like $60,000.  It won't give you anymore than $0.50 each for records I'm almost certain though.
