I'm talking about 90's girl rock shit like Sleeter-Kinney, L7, PJ Harvey. Maybe this is more of a Satanisrealagain again phenom. What happened to him? Kicked for the N-word?
still here, just been working a lot. I don't really know why I like all those bands so much, just stuff I got into when I was younger and they stuck. riot grrl 4-ever.

MRR ... should always be supported, even if just to keep that record library as complete as possible.

thats probably the only reason at this point.

I feel like I should state that MRR sucks massive cock and is almost always not worth reading but I keep coughing up $5 every month in hopes that there is at least one okay article or review of a band that doesn't suck.

I still buy MRR often, I'll basically buy whatever zines look even mildly cool or interesting. To answer your question accurately, people who do zines or write for zines are the people who read zines.

Would consider myself a big fan of some Jaramusch, Stranger than Paradise is one of my favorites, it's a pretty perfect existentialist film. Coffee and cigarettes is still a very novel film and is good to watch with friends.

Watched the last part of what I assume is a three part BBC production called "Punk Britannia" was pretty cool and even talked about some of the UK DIY stuff like Young Marble Giants.
