the bug was one of the most surprisingly boring shows ive ever seen.  i could possibly be biased because of the 10 minute long "rant" the vocalist gave before the set about his political tho or the second 10 minute rant 3 songs into the set that was about freedom of speech
Saw them with CCTV and it  was great. Didn't mind his little "i'm gay" rant beforehand.

Anyone like his films? I know they are hard to find but I like most of what I have seen.

Killdozer slagging should be taken over to the "Worse Than Pop Punk" forum.

I have seen GBs, Hand Over Head, Thrall, and They Never Sleep.  Plus Mike Hard Band.  Always an entertaining time, though David Livingstone on guitar takes things to a higher level.  Sometime, I gotta dig up the Hand Over Head demo - it's got a few tracks that never made it to vinyl.
agreed, killdozer kicks ass.

Haven't been posting here a lot, or doing a radio show these days.  So I decided to start a music-only podcast up.  3 episodes done so far, along with a posting of a PSF Records tribute I did on a college station here.  Also been posting a few other things as well.

anyhow check it out here - http://funwithacid.tumblr.com

I do not see why people would not like most of the Amrep stuff, Cows, killdozer, Tar, the Dope N Guns comps, and a bunch of other stuff I am probably forgetting kicked my ass when I first heard it and still does. But then again, I am only 20 so it is probably still new to me since I got into it when I was 14 or so.

Music Shit / Re: your first great record store experience
« on: June 11, 2017, 07:52:25 AM »
I guess I feel the need to comment on Vintage Vinyl, that was the first record store where I spent over $100 at in one trip. I was like 14 or 15 and had not ever been to any music shops outside of my hometown. I took every bit of money with me on that trip and bought the following: Lost Sounds - Memphis Is Dead(blue), Sonic Youth- Evol, R.E.M. - Fables of The Reconstruction(still my favorite R.E.M. record), My Bloody Valentine - Before Loveless(overpriced, import boot), PJ Harvey - The Falling(boot) and some other stuff I can't remember, maybe a Bauhaus cd or something. I would later go back and spend hundreds because I was not aware of discogs or did not have a credit card.
