GOOD TO MEET YOU BY THE WAY! I see 25K people a day. After awhile all people look the same and everything useless. The only people who stick out to me are the punks. I always notice them and they are really cool  8) 16 year old girl in a studded Misfits jacket w/ her dad to the 40 year old guy in a Germs shirt to the Latino couple in Sex Pistols and Broken Bones shirts to the 50 year old white guy in a Dead Moon shirt.

The coolest thing I've seen in the last week was a lady wearing sort of Jimi Hendrix's type 60s striped flare pants in green with palm trees and electric guitars on them. It was uber cool or super cool.

Born at Bess Kaiser Permanente 5055 N Greeley Ave, Portland, OR 97217.

Lived / graduated from Evergreen High School in Vancouver Washington USA.

Live now in Portland Oregon.

I like punk, creativity, women, learning new things, guitars/amps, helping people out, old stuff  and a few other things.

I usually wear a t-shirt, slim fit work pants in good color (gray, dark blue, etc) or jeans (USA Levis or Japanese/USA selvedge denim), slip-on or lace-up sneakers, bondage belt, striped wristband, studded wristband, band hoodie or plain color hoodie in good color (dark blue, black), beanie/flat cap depending on the weather, Levis/Lee/random vintage brand (KMart) jean/harrington/Eisenhower jacket, pins, small canvas shoulder bag to carry stuff.

Shy, introverted, suck at talking to people. Never really fit in anywhere.

Termbo has been around for a long time. It was around in 2004 when I first posted here (under a different user name) and I know it was active before that time as well. Don't know when it went "live" as they say in business.

Was gonna go to see Big Sandy playing at the Kenton Club yesterday but found out it's next Saturday and I'm working so FUCK! I was gonna go with a girl who's really cool so that's fucking lame. Looked up what was going on at the Twilight Cafe and Blackwater but not much point in trying to drive to Blackwater on Broadway when it's already after 9 PM. People in Sellwood here are racing each other on the new PDX electric scooters the city has. That's about it. Worked 46 hours this week. Most people don't speak English. A lot of dementia. Older employees who rarely talk to you. Shit tourists. Fucked up situations. No tips. Etc. What 'evs. STILL ALIVE  :) FOR ANOTHER DAY  ::)

I've got a Rickenbacker 330 from the mid-90s, a '78 Gretsch BST 1000, a Korg-era Vox AC-30 with blues, and a '72 Ampeg VT-22.  I've been through a lot of guitars and amps, but am pretty sure I'll always have these four and a Deluxe Memory Man.  I'm not a snob about shit, but before I got my AC30 I had a Laney copy, and you can't even begin to compare them. That being said, I think the best part about going through different stuff is figuring out exactly what you want to sound like and what it's going to take to get there.  On a side note, I think the Gretsch BST 1000 is maybe the best value in guitars period.  They're made in the USA, built like tanks, sound great, are easy as fuck to play and can still be had for less than $500.

Also, I'm looking to buy a 12 string electric soon and would appreciate any suggestions folks have.  Been looking at the Eastwood Classic 12 and the Gretsch G-5422.

Always wanted a Rickenbacker 330 just because of The Exploding Hearts. I have a Fender American Vintage '52 Reissue Telecaster in Butterscotch Blonde w/ a G&G HSC. I've had the chance to trade it for a Jetglo and Natural Rickenbacker 330 but didn't do it just because I don't like those colors. Black is boring (to me personally and can hide flaws), Natural (best option for good wood, can't hide flaws. I hate the color though. Too boring, plain.). If I could get a sunburst one I'd probably own a 330. Those are nice. I'm one of those people that if I don't like a guitar's neck profile/feel or a guitar's color I won't use it. I know it's stupid but I think a lot of people fall into the same boat. My favorite guitar ever was a Heritage Cherry Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plus Top. Beautiful color, great neck profile (for my hands anyway!), good pickups.

One thing I don't know about Rickenbackers is how useful they are. I've heard the necks are skinny and the sound is sort of limited. I've been asked in regards to wanting a Ric why I'd want one since a Tele is much more versatile and the Ric is supposed to be more one specific sound and not as useable.

I'm pretty prone to picking up free shit on the street and putting it on Craigslist to trade for pedals.
It works pretty well.
Doesn't cost you anything.
It's a good way to get free pedals.
Last 2 were a Boss OS-2 overdrive/distortion and a Catalinbread fuzz.

No one cares about punk in 2018.

Any articles / news written about "punk" are to get views.

I like hearing new bands.

Fuck the media.

P.S. Where are the punks blasting punk? I've lived my entire life  hearing people blasting "rap, hip-hop" so much but never anyone blast punk bands! I blast new + old punk bands on the highway and in traffic so the whole neighborhood + all cars + pedestrians can HEAR  :) NO ONE ELSE BLASTS PUNK! ONLY ME!

PDX PUNK!!!!!!!
