July 2017:
"File this one under bizarre: Every year on Fourth of July, many Americans like to celebrate the Holiday by buying cheap Chinese fireworks from their local supermarkets, fireworks depos, and/or sketchy roadside stands. On the packaging, these fireworks often feature images taken without authorization, such as Spider-man, Men in Black, and Batman. This year, an unlikely source got co-opted. The logo of early LA synth-punks Screamers was included on a firework named after a Billy Idol song, "Rebel Yell." The firework was described as "a three stage whistle cake that will leave you screaming for more, more, MORE."

Good ol' HBAK. Grimiest, filthiest punk shit I've ever seen. Anyone with trains that run through their town or city has most likely seen his work rollin' by on the freights.

OK, I found it's cool to hit up our local newspaper with how lame our town is and how everyone in our local community is fucking lame. You had a protest, why didn't you riot, why didn't you shut some streets down, overturn some cop cars, why are protestors wearing such boring slackerish clothes? You think Donald Trump is gonna notice this shit? I just fucking hate these people.  :) Oh man, our community is so lame. Fascists still rule, churches, sports and all that stuff. I just like walking down the street and some girl smiles at you. That's probably the best thing I could say about this place. People here don't talk to each other and keep to themselves or threaten to call the cops if you're too loud at night or searching for cans in the night (money is hard to come by). We're out here are 3 AM, totally quiet, not making any noise, not disturbing anything and they roll up on us on mini-bikes and want to know if we "live around here". Fuck this shit. Fuck these people. I'm out!  :P

Margaret Kilgallen (October 28, 1967 ? June 26, 2001) AKA Matokie Slaughter  and Barry McGee AKA Twist

Both are a big inspiration to many street artists, vandals, rail enthusiasts, graffiti writers, etc. Very cool people! Outta SF.

I know a woman that worked in Antartica for 10 years. Pretty cool.  8)

Leonid Ivanovich Rogozov (March 14, 1934 ?  September 21, 2000) was a Soviet general practitioner who took part in the sixth Soviet Antarctic Expedition in 1960?1961. He was the only doctor stationed at the Novolazarevskaya Station and, while there, developed appendicitis, which meant he had to perform an appendectomy on himself, a famous case of self-surgery.

Caught this while on the road. It's a weekly program. 1 hour long. Wrote down the station name and day/time it was played. They were playing a lot of rockabilly but they play other stuff. Love the DJ.. Carl Sonny Leyland. Very knowledgeable and has good taste in records.

"He was born in 1965 near Southampton, England, but as a child was drawn to American music. At age 15, he discovered boogie woogie, and was inspired to make the piano his career. He came to New Orleans in 1988, and built a reputation in the clubs there for the next nine years. In 1997 he relocated to California, where he joined Big Sandy & His Flyrite Boys, a rockabilly and western swing group, touring with them for three years. Since then his repertoire has included ragtime and early jazz..."
