I don't know man, I didn't get to see you on the last tour so this is a bummer.

There's a condemned Greek deli by my house, maybe you guys can play in there.

how the fuck could someone limp their way through high school without Judas Priest

'Cause of Ramones

Ya need both. And the 'mats, Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr., all of the 80s hardcore

Cloud Nothings too. I'll never outgrow that band

Re: the old guy yea I imagine in the 80s it was way different, I guess the metalheads were a lot meaner to the punks back then

Innumerable Forms-Punishment in Flesh

Listened to this today. Super great OS death/doom outta Boston. The guy who fronts this band is in a bunch of kick ass groups (Magic Circle, Boston Strangler, Stone Dagger, etc.). Definitely worth checking this one out.

The Siege Column is finally up online too. Been listening to this one for a month now. Very primitive, lo-fi death metal with speed metal solos. One of my favorite albums this year.

Lots of good death doom out there today. Hooded Menace is great but tend to lean heavily towards the dooooom. Mortuous, Draghkar, Tenple of Void, Vastum are all doing bands worth checking out if you wanna hear some unique sounding stuff kinda like Autopsy.

Entombed rules too, can't beat that Swedish crunch sound.  The "death n roll" album is pretty tight as well.

117
My advice is to list exclusively to Autopsy for a week

Man this is fucking random, I was just out eating tonight with a buddy and the guy running the place was playing Blood Visions. Is it the anniversary of his death?

Caught that Mortuous show last night. Total annihilation, really fun night. Witch Vomit leveled the place too. Anyone who is still not listening to Witch Vomit is failing themselves.
