Looking forward to it. "Benedetta", Verhoeven's nunsploitation arthouse shocker from this year, was pretty fucking good. Paul is 83 and better than your favorite director.

Cleveland's crazy - wilder than Memphis, Austin, Atlanta and New Orleans combined - people at Herrible Fest first smashed the car before torching it, bartenders inside threw bottles at bands, there were shows in the basement with abestos hanging from the ceiling and Nunslaughter bought me beers cuz I hailed from the city of Mercyful and King Diamond.

Ohio is nuts! Loved it. Berlin is a close # 2 party town.

Outstanding and supersolid docu on one of my fave authors. 8/10
Released two weeks ago, watch the whole movie here (or don't)

A woman suspects that someone has clandestinely been filming her life and that her friends and acquaintences are seeing the movies in secret screenings. Neat little 1968 shortfilm from the director of Death Race 2000. 7/10

De Palma flicks usually are hit or miss, this noir-ish "erotic thriller" is somewhere in between. Very stylished shot and very wellmade on technically level with a complex storyline but Rebecca Romijn-Stamos and Antonio Banderas are terrible. It was yet another major flop for the director. 6.5/10

On her wild quest for love, 9-year-old Benni's untamed energy drives everyone around her to despair. Dark strong disturbing and heartbreaking drama. People with autistic children should def watch System Crasher. Helena Zengel is probably the best child actor I ever experienced! 8/10

Treevenge is a great gory X-mas parody. The director later made Hobo With A Shotgun, this shortfilm is better. 7/10

Non-Music Shit / Best party you experienced?

Jens Kofoed-Pihl / Singer, DJ, author of Kitsch, Camp & John Waters:

“My favourite party was probably at Now That’s Class – a bar in Cleveland, Ohio – during the Horrible Fest in 2011. It was also my birthday. Somebody torched a car in the parking lot during the night.”

Horrible Fest ended up using many of my photos on their website:

Backyard of Now That's Class the day after. Cleveland's firemen or police didn't bother to show up.

Tinsel Teeth

Flyin' Trichecos

Timmy Vulgar of Human Eye and friends in the pool.

Cola Freaks from Denmark which I was traveling with.

Thanks for everything, Now That's Class!

Your best party?

Watched 100 mins of Part 1 ... thats enough for me, now I know what mainstreamers are talkin' about on their 'Best Of 2021' lists, and I'm still not a Beatles fan, just an objective observer who only listens to bestial canadian war metal like Malgöth - best LP 2021 release - and nothing but.

Visually impressive loud big budget sci-fi action blockbuster, and almost as useless and pretentious messy as Inception. Kenneth Branagh is as scary as a Black Lips album. Wish Nolan would make more films like Dunkirk instead of fancy futuristic Mission Impossible wannabe products like this 150 mins flashy Hollywood shallowness like Tenet. 5/10

Fuck Nolan! Willard, a mild-mannered insurance adjuster, teams up with a foul-mouthed duck in a tattoo parlor who takes Willard on a surreal quest to become less uptight and possibly get laid in the process. Crude animated 1974 X-rated filth for Fritz The Cat fans and other immoral stoners. 8/10

"There was abuse in my family, but it was mostly musical in nature." Yet another Christopher Guest mockumentary, this comic masterpiece takes on the folk scene as This Is Spinal Tap took on heavy metal, a bit more loving and less condescending though. Eugene Levy (of American Pie fame) should have won an Oscar for his neurotic Mitch Cohen character in A Mighty Wind, by far the fucking funniest American movie released in 21st century. 10/10

A friend of mine made amazing sound design for this haunting riveting arthouse portrait of male rage after a seperation from the wife and their four children she develops feelings for another man somewhere in the midwest. Extremely wellacted. 8/10

Perfection. Another Christopher Guest comic bullseye. 10/10

A timid bank teller anticipates a bank robbery and steals the money himself before the crook arrives. When the sadistic crook realizes he's been fooled, he tracks down the teller and engages him in a cat-and-mouse chase for the cash. Very clever thriller, a remake of a Danish film that works. Shot in Canada with John Candy is bit part. 7.5/10

Non-Music Shit / Happy 71st birthday to Christina Lindberg!
« on: December 06, 2021, 12:33:29 AM »

Met her 10 years ago at The Danish Film Institute, amazing lady - the queen of depraved Swedish 70's sexploitation cinema - who signed my Thriller: A Cruel Picturre aka They Call Her One Eye dvd. For exploitation rookies:  Daryl Hannah and especially her look in Kill Bill Vol. 2 is based on Lindberg's character in the controversial Thriller (1973).

Lindberg also worked in Japan and starred in the extremely violenct and sleazy cult classic Sex & Fury. The Pinky Violence edition of Sex & Fury has an audio commentary by Chris D. of The Flesh Eaters.

I guess logic has always been outlawed. Eric Clapton, who built his fortune and reputation on black music, was and probably still is a racist, so ignorance is global.

Another (reread) masterpiece of a biography on my 3rd favorite actor (after Vincent Price and Robert Mitchum), actors nobody care about. Epstein is not related to Pedo Island Epstein.
