Visually impressive loud big budget sci-fi action blockbuster, and almost as useless and pretentious messy as Inception. Kenneth Branagh is as scary as a Black Lips album. Wish Nolan would make more films like Dunkirk instead of fancy futuristic Mission Impossible wannabe products like this 150 mins flashy Hollywood shallowness like Tenet. 5/10

Fuck Nolan! Willard, a mild-mannered insurance adjuster, teams up with a foul-mouthed duck in a tattoo parlor who takes Willard on a surreal quest to become less uptight and possibly get laid in the process. Crude animated 1974 X-rated filth for Fritz The Cat fans and other immoral stoners. 8/10

"There was abuse in my family, but it was mostly musical in nature." Yet another Christopher Guest mockumentary, this comic masterpiece takes on the folk scene as This Is Spinal Tap took on heavy metal, a bit more loving and less condescending though. Eugene Levy (of American Pie fame) should have won an Oscar for his neurotic Mitch Cohen character in A Mighty Wind, by far the fucking funniest American movie released in 21st century. 10/10

A friend of mine made amazing sound design for this haunting riveting arthouse portrait of male rage after a seperation from the wife and their four children she develops feelings for another man somewhere in the midwest. Extremely wellacted. 8/10

Perfection. Another Christopher Guest comic bullseye. 10/10

A timid bank teller anticipates a bank robbery and steals the money himself before the crook arrives. When the sadistic crook realizes he's been fooled, he tracks down the teller and engages him in a cat-and-mouse chase for the cash. Very clever thriller, a remake of a Danish film that works. Shot in Canada with John Candy is bit part. 7.5/10
