I just might finally stop tweaking my lineup for a bit. The early injuries to Reyes(surprise!), Hamilton(shocking!), and Yu(say whaaaat?), threw me off course some. And then I realized I drafted a team with middling ba hitters and overthought that one for a while. And then Ausmus finally dropped Hunter from the 2 hole, but also dropped A Jackson even lower in the order, securing even fewer runs scored. And then I have no patience for late round picks who shit the bed early and auditioned some 3bs in place of Headley and SPs in place of Masterson.  I lost Nelson Cruz in the shuffle, the only guy I'd like back. I probably should have just let Yahoo pick my team.

Polanco is going to be a stud, and Travis Snider's days are numbered. Still bummed it'll be another season before Cole and Taillon pitch on the same staff again.  Pitching prospects might as well get Tommy John once they're drafted.

Almost all top prospects now get more experience in the minors thanks to free agency. Yount would have went to the minors instead of straight to the bigs with today's rules.  Springer and Will Myers the year before could have come up a season sooner. Heaven forbid a player you expect to be good becomes eligible for free agency a year early. The Angels sure must regret signing Trout's big contract a year early, and I bet the Marlins are depressed if they have to trade Fernandez a season ahead of time with the haul they'll pull in if they don't sign him. And of course there's "supplements" too with kids not coming up as bean poles anymore. Ryan Braun was by far my favorite fantasy baseball rookie.

My most depressing draft pick so far is Austin Jackson thanks to him batting behind Miggy insead of ahead of him. Seems like a nobrainer to put him or Kinsler 1-2 and drop Hunter down for both real and fantasy, but that's just me. I don't know how much longer I can stay patient because Jackson's value plummets where he's at. And I think we should trade Saves for Balks or HBP next season.

I was big on Ryu too and don't know why I waited too long on Liriano either.  Bryce Harper already out of the game and no QS for Strasburg after 3 innings against the Mets.

I was hoping Goldschmidt would have slid down to my 8 spot in the 1st round with the glut of 1bs. A slugger who gets you 15-20 steals at that position rules. I gotta feeling the QS stat is going to be too easy considering so many starters only go 6 innings on a good day anyways. Wins are frustrating, but I'd be surprised if this category has the least seperation between first and last. Heck, you almost want your starter to be pulled after 6 innings to avoid a blown QS especially if your starter is up against a stud lineup.  Or you can just stream against the Astros all season, which ain't a bad strategy at all.

Aroldis Chapman down with a line drive to the face. That'll teach him. If it's a broken orbital bone he should be on the shelf for a while.  And Beachy might need another Tommy John. But back to closers, they're going to suck cock this season more than ever. Kimbrel and Jansen are about the only two who you know won't shit the bed.

Too bad there's not a quality save stat to match. I'm down with QS though. And Pay Pal transfer soon, Wells!

I watched Room 237 and if that movie had a face I would have kicked it.

We got to see Matthew McConaughey in a gratuitious sex scene who's by far better looking than the average man. I feel so emasculated now I got to finally see his ass. I can't compete with that and there goes my chance at a Calvin Klein ad  If feminists are going to judge based on appearance what a vacant lot that is. And what's so bad about Marty screwing a good looking college girl? In real life good looking women never fall for guys with power. It may not be the feminist ideal, but it sure is reality.

I kept wondering when they were going to reveal the green house to wrap it all up. And what's up with the feminist complaints? Are they upset that the Aristotlean/St. Paul view of women that prevailed for the last few millenia would still not prevail in rural Louisiana?

C'mon now Vinnie, Fernandez put up Kershaw numbers and gets a free pass. I still say ditch saves before wins so I can stop picking up Valverde on waivers. Replace it with mustaches and Derek Holland become a lot more valuable.

The Hamilton hype cracks me up. Best case scenario in my eyes is a Juan Pierre season. I'd gamble on Josh before Billy. I'm still trying to figure out why Bryce is ranked 10th. Prince Fielder is by far a safer pick to put up better numbers if you want power to name just one player. It'll be interested which of the young arms regress or improve: Cingrani, Corbin, Ryu, Gray, Teheran, Cole there's a lot of em to sort through.

Team Sassy will have you paid by the weekend, hopefully sooner. I'm taking Tanaka in the 1st, Billy Hamilton in the 2nd just to warn you all.
