Dude, your jaw would drop if you saw how some college kids react to fucking vinyl let alone tapes these days.  Some of them have no clue.  We're getting closer to the generation of kids who don't have parents with records.

really? i feel like a lot of "college kids" that you're denigrating, myself included, are excited at the idea of playing vinyl over the air as it's a hell of a lot more tangible and real than the future, which is digital servicing of most if not all radio releases.

we have shows that definitely play a lot of great stuff and a lot of crap.  the downside of being a college radio station which is run by actual college students and not people like WFMU who have double the experience, knowledge, and record collections.

the full length is wonderful at roughly sixteen minutes.  they're super fun live, too.  7" is worth getting, especially for the b-side.
