i mean, i like watch me fall a lot. never said i didn't. i just prefer blood visions slightly, maybe because of the associations i have with it. they are different. seems reasonable.
and i had preordered the record by the way...

p.s. i liked blood visions - a lot - as soon as i heard it. i wasn't even on this site then, and it was legitimately the experience of a high school kid hearing an awesome album and liking it a lot without some sort of obscure internet backlash.

Chicago: Permanent Records, for sure. Good free BYOB in-stores + sick selection = rad.
Charlottesville, VA: nothing really anymore. Plan 9 near UVA was good but then shut down to make way for a CVS. Sidetracks and the other Plan 9 are too expensive and lame, respectively.

I second both of these. I also really like the Earth album The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull, because it's awesome. If you ever can't fall asleep, listen to it, and I mean this in the best way.
