Locrian - Rain of ashes
If Locrian?s latest full length portrays decay and waste when you first see it, ?Rain of Ashes? is the is the aftermath once you?ve had time to think about what you?ve just seen. Recorded with no overdubs and no other takes, Locrian went into WMUC studios located at College Park, Maryland to record what became much more than just a session. ?Rain of Ashes? is a journey, not of complex feelings, but of realizing the decay and collapse you have just witnessed is real and will never go away. Instead of completely pummeling the listener, the piece slowly rips the listener apart until there is nothing left. Though after Locrian?s first full length ?Drenched Lands?, you might have to ask yourself, ?is there anything left to begin with in the first place?? ?Rain of Ashes? reassures you that nothing is left. 200 copies on audio cassette.

Fan Death is honored to re-issue the very first New Flesh release. Long forgotten by most, this release previews and instills what would be a force in Baltimore for almost seven years and counting. While many are just coming around to what The New Flesh were and are doing now, this tape can be seen as the connection and progression of mid 90s "noise rock" to full blown out Harry Pussy meets drunks with guns fucked up-ness. Only 200 copies of this will be pressed on audio tape, and will never be issued again.

Pygmy Shrews came to our attention after asking to play DNA TEST FEST II. The guitar player looked like Milhouse wearing a ZZtop shirt so we weren't sure what to expect, but after their set and seeing them a few times after, we were pretty much blown away. "Lord Got Busted" was recorded during the sessions of Pygmy Shrews first LP "The Egyptian" on Wantage USA. Instead of beating you in the fucking face, this is more like giving you a curb stomp that happens over and over again. It pounds until there is nothing left to say but "fuck yourself, try to get off". The b-side is a cover of the Pussy Galore classic "Kill Yourself", which you probably should do anyways. The A side is up for your listening experience on our myspace.

our next two releases have been confirmed and will be released in august. announcements are forthcoming.
some of you may have noticed our mailorder has been slow lately. we acknowledge this, and have a bunch of reasons for this, some legitimate and some not. we are getting caught up with shipping - many people have received emails, some of which have photos of their packages in them. a full tupperware container went to the post office today, and a half-full container is going out tomorrow. if you have any outstanding issues, contact us immediately so we can resolve the situation.
thanks. we're going to new york this weekend to see pygmy shrews and sex vid/drunkdriver, and if you're within an eight-hour drive, you should too.
