last night i watched "class of nuke em high." would that be considered a zombie movie? or are nuclear radiation monster movies a class of their own?
also, 80s movies cannot seem to get punk right. the punks in this movie were a mix of san francisco squatter burnout meets new age viking with the faintest trace of punk. this movie was fucking awesome.

but "acne" is the sickest zombie movie ever, it's directed by rusty nails and all the "actors" are just a bunch of punks. it's about how an evil candy corporation adds something to the water so that teenagers crave sweets, but eating candy just makes their heads well up into giant zits and they become zombies, then when the zit brains explode they die. or something like that.

this thread got me looking into the "rich and cultural" history of skokie, il, one of the ugliest neighboring suburbs of chicago. turns out that we are the "sister city" to porbander, india, which is mahatma ghandi's birthplace. ALSO, the cadaver of baby face nelson was dumped at the entrance of the st. peter catholic cemetery in skokie. pretty CRAZY.
